Torticollis & Plagiocephaly Physiotherapy (Pediatrics)
Our physiotherapy - based torticollis and plagiocephaly treatment focuses on early intervention to promote healthy development in infants. Tortricollis is a condition where a baby’s neck muscles become tight or imbalanced, leading to a head tilt or difficulty turning the head. Plagiocephaly, or “flat head syndrome” often develops dye to prolonged pressure on part of the skull. Using comprehensive assessment, our expert physiotherapist identify movement restrictions, muscle imbalances, and skull asymmetries. Treatment may include gentle stretching, positioning techniques, hands-on therapy, strengthening exercises, and parent education to encourage optimal head and neck movement.

Supporting your child's healthy development.
Are you noticing a flat spot on your baby's head or that they prefer looking one way? These are common signs of torticollis (tightness in the neck muscles) and plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome). Both conditions are very common in babies and can improve with early intervention. At Versa Movement Collective, we use gentle, play-based phsyiotherapy techniques to help your baby improve neck movement and strength, encourage symmetrical head and body positioning and support healthy head shape development. We will also teach you easy-at-home strategies like positioning tips and tummy time ideas to continue supporting your baby's development between sessions.
